Village Hall News: further delays to full opening from coronavirus precautions mean that although small groups, or groups who can maintain separation between groups of 6 can use the hall, larger groups cannot. Lets hope 19th July enables more freedom. We have been so fortunate here to have low levels of the virus. Thanks to so many practicing careful behaviours.
Meanwhile our Wednesday Market continues—please come and check it out. Though Pollards fruit and veg have ceased coming – they gave us two days notice, we are looking for another option. Other traders are still supporting us and even new ones starting. The cafe was well used today. Please keep coming.
Craft Stalls: Once a month we plan to have a number of craft stalls at the market. This idea was sparked by a couple from Stanningfield who will be brining their art and woodworking creations to our first Craft market day on 23rd June, which was enjoyed by many. Thereafter it will take place on the last Wednesday of the month — the next one will be July 28th. If you have crafts to sell or to show do get in touch.
Choose Refills: Many people try to have less impact on the environment, reduce plastic use for example. We are fortunate to have secured an opportunity to bring your saved empty bottles along for refilling rather than buying new cleaning and personal care products. “All of our products are eco friendly and cruelty free and many are locally produced in Suffolk such as our soaps and shampoo bars etc.” We expect them on the 3rd Wednesday : July 21st, August 18th. Come along and give them a try. Check them out at : https://chooserefills.co.uk/
