The Queen's 90th birthday celebrations in the village hall went extremely well. There was a bouncy castle for the children, afternoon tea and then music in the evening - it looks like the hall is a great venue for a party. Many thanks to Wendy

April/May 2016:  Well here we are in the middle of April already. The weather can’t seem to make up its’ mind at the moment with warm sunny days, cold frosty nights and occasional very wet and windy days. This is more like the April days

The Village Hall Management Committee has a new Chair. David Henderson, who came to Lawshall in 2013 has stepped forward. Since coming to Lawshall he has worked in the Pub, helped with the Church grounds, become a Lottery Collector and enjoyed meeting and getting to

May Update Lawshall’s Village Hall is now refurbished and open for all to use. Many people remarked favourably about the new flooring to the people supervising the election. The Monday Carpet Bowls group have started playing there – at last the floor is level for them. Tuesdays
