The Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations in the village hall went extremely well. There was a bouncy castle for the children, afternoon tea and then music in the evening – it looks like the hall is a great venue for a party. Many thanks to Wendy Harris and Ian Carrington for arranging this event for the village.
The chairside activity/exercise class was rumoured to be stopping, as written in July’s R&A. However I have been assured that it is continuing, albeit with small numbers. Those who attend are finding it very valuable and would like more people to join them. So if you are finding it difficult to take exercise then give this a try. Look out for more information next month.
