December 2020 update

Village Hall News:

Just as we were getting going again with holding meetings and some small groups in the hall, we went into lockdown again. Who knows what will be possible in December or January— the management committee will continue to  keep  abreast of measures to help keep everyone safe.  And yet we hope the hall can carry on being a venue to support village life.

Christmas Tree— look out for our Christmas tree which will    be lit up on the front of the hall this year without our usual carols and cocoa.

Market  — bread, thanks to Kate Richards for volunteering, during lockdown, to bring breads and bakery products pre– ordered from the Friendly Loaf in Nowton for collection in Lawshall on Wednesday  Mornings during the market times.

Coffee mornings  – starting on 16th and 23rd December—coffee, tea, cake and snacks available on Wednesday mornings at the village hall.  Stop for a socially distanced chat. See page 20-21 in R&A

Wifi  –  is now available at the hall.  We hope this will entice future hirers.

Please do contact one of us if you would like to join the committee.

YOU may be exactly who we need.
